Oh but he's not even close to be the best writer of the Bat-Line
Batman has battled all manner of criminals, monsters, and super-villains, but nothing could have prepared him for what's coming with Failsafe, an unstoppable foe that can outfight and outthink the Dark Knight-but could a dark connection to Batman's past be the answer? Not bad, but to be Batman and the so-called best writer of this editorial, it just seemed to me that he lacks a lot. In the middle, neither good nor bad.

Solid delivery, fun, smart, great art.
All-new team! Same old problems! After losing everything, Task Force Z has finally discovered who their real enemy is. Jason and his team are on the run, underpowered, and outgunned. But everyone knew this was really just a Suicide Squad when they signed up, right? One way or another, they are going to finish this. Only one thing stands in their wa...
I'm generous with the rating, from the previous topic Matt has decided to use the same inconsistent formula of his writing, he does not understand the characters, he is looking at what Chip wrote, who does not have great knowledge or respect for characterization either. It already makes me a little apathy to rate and review these messy fanfics, just because my punch doesn't allow me to leave sommore

I didn't bet much on this writer, however this is very good, even with its flaws it is much better than what was written in Urban Legends. I really like the direction in which it points
Secret-origin issue, baby! Task Force Z #5 was quite the disaster for Bane and Jason, huh? Let’s give those two a minute to sort out their lives and travel back to the very beginnings of the team: where the black market Lazarus trade has just begun, and Two-Face makes a call that heywaitaminute this is going to inform the current story, isn’t i...

Rated T+

At the moment they haven't dropped this story and in this particular issue it was quite nice to read.

Good narrative, action, art, I liked the look of Wallet.

An emotional and solid delivery, I liked it a lot and the art returned to its quality.

Betrayals and assassinations have brought the world to the brink of war! As the Kingdom of Storms and Themyscira prepare for invasion, the El family is reunited at last to mourn their father...but what secrets does Bruce Wayne have that could prove vital to the future of the land?
I was on the fence about getting this. I'm glad I picked it up though! Mantle passing of characters can be a hard sell to some but it makes perfect sense with iron fist. The characters mythology already has it so many have been iron fist and many more will be. It's not at all like Danny rand is the essential iron fist. He may be your favourite and that's fair and okay. There have been great characmore

It's funny you mention Kyle Rayner. Ganthet popped up in an alley, looked around, shrugged, and said "You'll do". Until more is explained that's what it feels like happened to Lin. To become Iron Fist, Danny had to beat the best fighters Kun Lun had to offer, then defeat a dragon, bare handed. He earned it. Kyle was given time to grow into a great GL, I'm hoping, if he's around more than 12 issues, that Lin is allowed to do the same.
Yeah, this is awful. Not just that the story is bad but the reason Marvel came up with this is awful. It all began when those idiots online started screeching that Finn Jones should be replaced with an Asian actor because in their tiny minds only Asians can learn martial arts. Imagine being this deluded. So Marvel broke the no.1 rule on the internet: don't cave in to online morons. And ever since more

Oops make that masterbating to Tom Taylor.. so confusing all these Tom’s in your fantasies.
I agree with you on your "P.S." statement. Seems like many fakes or something like that, but not just actual comic readers...
What does it mean that he wears shoes inside the house because "he has a white mom"? I just scratched my head at that one. And he goes at it again with your "white Karen of a mommy". Kinda weird language Yang is using, I don't suppose he would go on those diatribes for other races of people but with whites it's allowed, of course. Also the mom is terrible at her mom job (not that her regular job imore
Introducing the newest hero in the DCU, the great sage, equal to the heavens, better than his predecessor the legendary Monkey King, even better than the Justice League-and definitely the Teen Titans-(actually, all the heroes combined), everyone put your hands together for…the Monkey Prince! Marcus Sun moves around a lot because his adoptive pare...
Review for the whole book. This was good, I read it a very, very long time ago and just re-read it right now and it's good, it's just... not as good as people remember it. The Bizarro issue is by far the best.
Clark Kent's childhood sweetheart Lana Lang is back in Smallville, and the Man of Steel decides to pay her a visit. In the process, Clark learns the truth of his home planet of Krypton and the life his people led--but what does it mean for his future on Earth?
Pretty decent book, I feel like this is more King's wheelhouse than superhero stories are.
Baghdad, 2003. In an effort to establish some semblance of order in the war-torn city, Florida cop-turned-military-consultant Chris Henry has been assigned to train cadets in law enforcement. But good intentions are not immune to the chaos found in the post-9/11 Middle East. When one of Henry's trainees is found dead, he's forced to ally himself wi...
Since I was contacted by Dan because some people here are complaining about my reviews, I decided, as a show of good faith, to unblock everyone in my block list. All the same, as I'm sure some people will go back to their usual routine, I do propose that if you, a user, are bothered by my posts, by all means, ignore me and if you ask me to do the same, I will do it. That doesn't mean that if a book is bad, I won't review it, it just means some people should learn to deal with different opinions.
Woow, is everything alright? There was already someone mad about your departure on my twitter sending me messages. Sorry mate, not being aware of all this bullying at your person, for one or two comics, I've stopped reading the it and gone for the manga. I'm sorry to read all this. And of course you have my support, anyway, I don't want to be in a place where there is no freedom to give or read a mature review, and your friend is one of the few who has the balls to do so.
@fenix: Everything is fine for now, thanks for the support! @E-Motion: What have you seen on twitter? I'm trying to stay away from twitter as much as I can. Btw, I don't follow critic reviews either. The only website I still follow for critic reviews is Weird Science, I find the reviews there pretty honest, they don't praise DC or Marvel just so the Big Two can give them free comics to read.
The first three issues were great, and while this issue wasn't bad, it had some problems. I particularly don't like Icon's voice here, he is justified in his actions, however he doesn't sound as the old Icon. I'm sure Dwayne McDuffie, God bless his soul, wouldn't have approved of this voice for the character. I still think Hudlin vastly overestimates the economy's reliance on drugs but the discussmore
Static is extremely interested in the new teen hero on the scene-but the feeling on Rocket’s part is most certainly not mutual! Can’t someone threaten the entire world again so she has an excuse to shake this guy? Be careful what you wish for…
I liked this up until the part with Silver Swan, I just can't buy the victim narrative Phillips is selling for her.
As the trial for all humankind begins, with Wonder Woman serving as the defendant for all of Earth, godlike cosmic accusers present an extensive list of charges against humanity. Does the capacity for good outweigh the great evils done to one another and the entire planet? Diana must believe it does…or else all the people she has sworn to protect...
I know a lot of people are losing their minds over the "new" suit and the Titans making an appearance but I just can't get over all the cringey dialogue. I'm sure Taylor thinks he's funny but the "jokes" just aren't landing and the "quippy" dialogue is not that quippy. Heartless is pretty annoying, I hope Blockbuster kills him because he's not a good addition to the Nightwing mythos. I also cringemore
The blue stripes are back! Nightwing gets an updated suit starting this issue! I ll tell you what hes trying to do by following us Merlyn. He believes that eventually he will catch a sentence or a post that he can go to admin with and cry "phobe" or "bigot" or "insurrectionist" or whatever lefty sobriquet and then get us removed. You should see by now hes a very damaged individual and he seethes at you. His agenda is revenge driven and troll buddies he has here are part of trying to bait and insult you to get the "evidence"he thinks he will need. Hes a very ugly individual
King still doesn't get Supergirl but that's not even the main issue. You can misunderstand a character and still write an entertaining story but this is just super boring. The only good news here is there is only one issue left of this. Definitely not the best Supergirl story ever, though lately there are no good Supergirl stories, unfortunately.
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for…the capture of Krem! With the fugitive in custody, Supergirl must now deal with his allies, the ungodly Brigands! To stop them once and for all, she must leave Ruthye behind with the man who killed her beloved father. Can she trust the young girl to let the villain of our story live long enough to stand...
