Overall I enjoyed Titans #36and I'm saddened that this is the last issue! This team showed so much promise and I was hoping to see Donna Troy reach her full potential as the leader of the Titans. Even with the loss of Nightwing, this team was able to turn that particular tragedy into a strength and grow from it. Donna Troy honestly stood out as a favorite in this run, and I hope to see her again in another leadership role soon in the future. Read Full Review
This was an overall great last issue with beautiful art but combining a touching flashback with the thrilling conclusion to an epic arc made it feel a bit disjointed. Read Full Review
Dan Abnett does a solid job the final installment of the "Into The Bleed" story arc balancing the action (a brawl between the Titans and Mother Blood) and the emotional moments (a conversation between Raven and a pre-shot Nightwing) that have made his run on the book work so well. Read Full Review
Despite how harsh I may have sounded throughout this review, I did really enjoy this issue and this arc. As I mentioned, the art and writing has been top-notch and I cannot recommend enough picking up the deluxe edition hardcovers for this run because they are just gorgeous. I'm excited to add this final arc to that collection and round off this amazing series. Read Full Review
Abnett reflects on better days of the book with a flashback featuring Nightwing and Raven. Nightwing's departure was the first significant blow to the title and it felt like Abnett wanted one more crack at the character to show he's the steady and reliable presence the book always needed. It's not an overtly bad comic, but it's one that never did justice to its characters. Read Full Review
The finale of this series hits some nice moments before wrapping up a mediocre story and bringing everything back to the status quo. I'm happy that this book is finally over. At least the art was great on the way but this series became a huge disappointment. Read Full Review
Is it worth picking this last issue up? Well, yes, if you are a completist, or a massive Beast Boy fan. Otherwise, spend your money on Teen Titans or Young Justice. Read Full Review
A serviceable conclusion. Sad to see it go. I really enjoyed this team's unique challenges and membership.
Well this comic has come to a close, and wow they really wanted the story to end. We get half the issue taking place in the past with Dick convincing Raven to join the team, which felt unnecessary and bit forced. Other half we see Titans battle Mother Blood who the end result came out confusing.
I’m glad it’s done.
I'm glad this title is ending. This issue kind of encapsulates my problems with this series. Nothing of interest happens, it's wholly unsatisfying and there's a lot of relief that it's over.
