Diana and her compatriots have crossed from our world into a shattered land where no earthly feet have fallen in eons...but that doesn't mean that everything there is dead and gone! If this is indeed the road to the lost Themyscira, Wonder Woman will face any danger to reach its end-but that doesn't mean that those she's traveling with will survive!

Wonder Woman (2016-) #72 is a must read for fans. G. Willow Wilson finally begins to move Wonder Woman towards the light and away from the darkness that has recently consumed her. Read Full Review
This is the conclusion of the current story, but it's also more of an introduction to the next one. This is a good jumping on point as the fate of Themyscira is closer to being revealed. Read Full Review
G. Willow Wilson's fantasy-based run on Diana's flagship title continues to be a compelling adventure that upends its concept every few issues. Read Full Review
Jesus Merino and Tom Derenick shine with the art in this issue. Every page is filled with great detail and all of the characters look amazing. The minotaur sequence is fantastic and all of the action works. Read Full Review
This issue is okay. The art is fine for the most part. The problem is that nothing in the issue grabs my attention. There's nothing awful or bad about it. It's just kind of there. This run has been doing interesting things with Diana so I'm hoping that this issue was just an excuse to go crazy and have some fun with big action. And that next time Diana's character will come back to the forefront. Read Full Review
This issue is easy to follow and definitely paced very well, however, there appears to be no gravity to any situation. The battles don't seem important and I never felt like any of the characters were in jeopardy, which alleviates the importance of the story. I'm beginning to wonder if they will ever find Themyscira, but at this point, I am caring less and less if they do. Something crazy needs to happen soon or else an epic plot twist that shakes the run to its core. Otherwise, it may be time to bow out. Read Full Review
. The result is that readers will likely be drawn out of the action as Wonder Woman makes its way somewhere that is, hopefully, much more engaging. Read Full Review
What is the point of Maggie? You do realize you are already writing a comic about a bad ass amazon who uses swords, right? Why do we need this random person from some diner to be some "chosen one" bs? Why not just make it Wonder Woman?
If you wanted to create your own hero, why even accept the book?
Disappointing. There are two artists but Diana looks like differently people literally in consecutive panels. Maybe Wilson is not being afforded top-flight art teams, but maybe she is not playing to the strengths of the artists at this point. I would love for an arc to fully come together at this point!
Feels a bit like treading water.
"Wow"
This issue was below any expectations that I developed for the current creative team.
The art ranged from a decent one to a rather bad one. The story itself wasn't that far behind.
Aside from one nice moment involving Diana's lasso and some frog-like monsters, the rest of the issue is pretty forgettable.
I'm also starting to think that Atlantiades is not really an interesting character that I thought he might turn out to be. Pitty.
Even Wonder Woman couldn't save this one.
Things certainly happen here.
