I really enjoyed this issue. Orlando is a writer I enjoy especially when he writes Wonder Woman. I think he understands this character very well. It's an interesting story that shows new sides of Hippolyta. This is a fun issue. Read Full Review

As a fill-in book you can't ask for much better than an entertaining story that keeps your interest despite light connections to the main story. This was a good read and one Wonder Woman fans old and new should appreciate. Read Full Review

This issue could easily be skipped and readers won't miss a beat. It's easy to see that Orlando was a guest writer to buy Wilson some time and maybe try to get back some of the magic he had on the book before Wilson arrived. This series needs a hard reset, a new direction, and maybe a new creative team fast. This is one of the members of the Trinity. This book should be epic... but sadly it's not. My hope is that Wilson can at least come back strong, direct, and with purpose. Otherwise, call me when they find Themyscira. Read Full Review

Well, I mean, thanks for the facts that I did not know.

It was alright. A filler that doesn't really bring anything to the table.
The story is serviceable, explains to us what Dimension Chi is. I don't if it something new or has it made an appearance in the comics before. And I think I noticed some sort of continuity errors in here, it's nothing big, but it stands out to me.
If I remember right, and I think I do, Rucka established in Year One that Amazons didn't possess any superhuman abilities (immortality aside) and Dina received hers after leaving the island. In here it looks like they had them all along. Odd.
But what needs praise in this issue is the art. It looks really, really good. From the pencils to the colors. It's Wonderfull.
