EVE OF DESTRUCTION!

In this issue: Space Ghost's headquarters lies in ruins, and the Ghost Planet teeters on the edge of total collapse! The Council of Doom stands triumphant, while the Guardian of the Spaceways barely clings to life! Unless we're missing something, it looks like oblivion is about to claim our heroes and extinguish the last flickering light in the great darkness!

The binary star system of writer DAVID PEPOSE and artist JONATHAN LAU gaze into the abyss with Space Ghost #12 - fortified by indelible imagery from FRANCESCO MATTINA, JAE LEE & JUNE CHUNG, BJORN BARENDS, and ANTHONY MARQUES!

Clearly I am not alone in loving Space Ghost. The series has been extended, with a new #1 issue planned for this July. While this will undoubtedly be as good a jumping-on point as every issue to date, I would suggest seeking out the earlier issues, or the first TP, With Only Ghosts To Comfort Us, before then. SPACE GHOST #12 is another stellar action fest bristling with drama, twists, and turns. David Pepose's script is on fire (literally) as the team fights to stop the destruction of their planet, and Jonathan Lau's artwork is levels above the average Big 2 comic. Read Full Review

Space Ghost #12 presented a great story that really showed Space Ghost’s commitment to caring for Jan and Jace and honoring the memory of his deceased loved ones through fighting evil. It shows that no matter the odds, Space Ghost finds a way to come out triumphant. However, even though he managed to save the day and create mutiny with the council, the villains haven’t been completely defeated, and thanks to Ibal’s meddling, a new villain is about to emerge! This series definitely leaves readers on their toes wanting more. How will Space Ghost and his team stop this new menace and rescue Blip? Or are they too late? Read Full Review

This was a great ending to the arc. I really enjoy this book and I am impressed by the consistency of the writing and character interactions. The teaming fo the bad guys was a nice touch for the ending as was the falling out between Jan and Sapce Ghost. Blip being the key was a good twist as well. I'm looking forward to the next arc. Plot Space Ghost escapes the COUNCIL OF DOOM attack thanks to Jace and Jan, who cauterize Space Ghost's wounds and devise a plan to defeat this team of villains, including Zorak, Moltar, Metallus, Black Widow, Creature King, and Brak. The fight sequence against these villains is thrilling. Space Ghost manages to save the Ghost Planet from a core failure and is filled with energy, so they prepare to go after Doctor Xander of Robo Corp., who has trapped and tortured the ape Blip. He uses Ultima as part of his experiments, sending out a wave that can control the minds of thousands of people. Xander's goal is for the entire galaxy to become part of Robo Corp.
