Overall, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine The Dog of War #1 is an excellent debut issue which gets readers back into the world of DS9. The story by Chen is suspenseful. The art by the creative team is gorgeous. Altogether, a story that Star Trek fans will not be able to put down. Read Full Review
The story concerning the Borg technology was the dominant thread in this book. This makes me wonder if the Dog is going to be used in some way for the Federation's fight with the Dominion. Read Full Review
Final ThoughtsThere is something about having a dog on Deep Space Nine that is both alien and fulfilling. This felt like the beggining of a great episode of Ds9! Fans, your in for a treat!
I'm not too sure about this one. I picked it up since I'm a fan of Star Trek, and they used some Easter Eggs like Vic, but I'm not really being drawn into the story. Borg tech and a dog and how it relates to the war. That's the basis for the story. Just not feeling it.
