This is another great issue. I'm really enjoying how this book is set out with the multiple panels and the reserved use of dialogue for the protagonist, Sonny. Remender's storyline really is being driven by the fantastic artwork of Andre Lima Araujo and it is this pairing that is the catalyst or such a successful book. Fans of murder/mystery/thriller books will thoroughly enjoy this series. Read Full Review
Remender is usually known for weaving the main character's inner thoughts through each issue in the form of journal entry-like narration. This mostly silent comic is a change from the norm for him, but gosh am I loving it. The art is so on point, and the story that Remender is crafting is suspenseful and mysterious. I love being dropped little hints of who our main character is and what his past is like without being spoon-fed everything. Another brilliant issue.
Very suspenseful.
Holds up very well as our plot continues to go to further depths. The limited dialogue is such a great concept, especially in a title like this. Really enjoying this series.
This is a hard book to rate. It really doesn't have much idea of a plot. But maybe that's the point. We are picking up on it slowly and it's a very visual book. I'm somehow very intrigued.
either you keep riding this wave or you ruin the flow. will be tricky not doing a lot of dialogue at some point but hoping they stick with it.
