Sonny and Xavier are back to square one. Can life ever start over, or do our pasts cast an inescapable shadow?
Rick Remender & Andr Lima Arajo's series gives readers a surprising respite in this issue where almost nothing bad happens. Read Full Review
Remender's use of silence throughout this series has been nothing short of masterful. After the most violent and action-packed issue of the series, we get the calmest and quietest of issues, and it works so dang well. Nothing much happens, but it's a much-deserved reprieve for Sonny and Xavier (even though we know it won't last), and it provides a meaningful opportunity for us to just take a break and enjoy their relationship. Araujo's art is brilliant here, as it has been all series.
Such a good series, in such a different way than a lot of books out. Mostly silent but, keeps you interested in what's going on.
