Things are getting real in the world of Evolution by the end of this second issue. You can definitely see how much work this creative team has put into this book that Skybound allowed them to experiment with. I'm still in love with the art style used; it's such an overlooked style, but it really works with this sort of plot. It's rougher and textured which makes certain scenes seem more gory or horrifying (which I imagine is exactly what they were going for). Read Full Review
The standard of the first issue is maintained in the second. While there is body-horror, the story extends well beyond this in its thematic scope. The art and script continue to work in synergy to produce a first rate comics experience.
