Things have gone very, very badly for Jenner in this issue. The dive into the darkness this issue shows a willingness to vary the mood and tone. To show a real progression in Jenners long-range character development that could be quite dynamic over time. The challenge here might be keeping things fresh over the very, very long-haul as so much seems to be happening for the young Fairlady in such a brief time. Fairlady departs from our lives far too early as it was just starting to outline its major plot. It was a beautiful project performed by a group of deeply talented artists who I'll make sure to follow from this point on. Fairlady #5 was perhaps the strongest issue of the series, weaving old plots into the new and creating something so much larger than readers have ever expected. Jenner's perspective was retrospective in a way that made it oddly perfect for the last issue. Read Full Review

THE GOOD:
-Well, I finally got around to reading this issue. It was great. I loved it.
-This series always does a good job of beginning with a scene towards the end, without turning it into too much of a gimmick.
-I love Claudia Balboni's art. It's not perfect, but something about it just feels very natural and it fits this world very well.
-This issue had the best mystery yet. I was really surprised by the reveal too.
-I loved how this issue tied back to the very first issue nicely.
-That chase scene was really fun and very fluid.
-I love these characters.
-That end was very suspenseful and tense.
-Great cliffhanger!
