FirePower#1 flips the "chosen one" trope on its head beautifully, thanks to some amazing art and a solid script. While I do wish the issue was a bit more friendly to new readers, I highly suggest reading it and the graphic novel for the complete experience. Read Full Review

This is a new take on a some-what classic matter. I think that Kirkman’s going to take this story to places we haven’t seen. I just want to say that, don’t be a “Im just a marvel/dc guy”. Just read the damn book, and you will see it’s one of the best stories on the shelf! And Chris Samnee’s art is perfect as usual.
This story has been told so many times that the only thing going for them is Samnee's great art. I'm out.
