You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

Above all, Williamson and company manage a very tightly crafted piece of adventure fiction. All of the movement in the issue is movement forward. There really isn't much of a chance for the reader to catch their breath. It all keeps moving forward, kinetic even in those moments where people are trying to figure out what the hell is going on those moments of discussions still managed to feel very strong and urgent even though they’re pauses in the kinetic action of the issue. It’s all quite well-executed. Read Full Review

    Astonishingly Awful

    Aug 19, 2026

This issue wasn't a hit for me, maybe because I couldn't care less about Baroness. However, I also wasn't too thrilled about the art. I usually love Tom Reilly's art, but for some reason, it didn't look as good as usual. On the positive side, the transition between Reilly and Milana is seamless at this point.
Ultimately, this is a solid issue, but somewhat underwhelming for a landmark issue.
