Its nice to see shades of darkness around the edges of something that I had only ever really had a chance to be. Another great issue. Unlike the other G.I. Joe title, this one makes me care about the characters. In this case, I’m really worried about my favorite, Clutch. I hope he makes it out of the enemy’s lair.
The only issue I’m having with this series is the coloring. While I generally like a reduced moody color palette, it does look a bit lazy and uninspired in some places.
Anyway, the perfect comic book art doesn’t exist (well, maybe in Geiger…), and I’m really loving this series so far!
