G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #303 is a marked improvement to the last issue. It has action, beautiful art and a massive cliff hanger to lead into next month's issue. Serpentor appears to be a worthy adversary for the G.I. Joe team. Read Full Review

G.I. JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO #303 keeps building the growing threat of the mutant Serpentor and his superhuman army as the series builds to an eventual invasion of Springfield. Hamas story stacks and builds Serpentor as a greater threat, and Mooneyhams gritty, macho art is fantastic. Read Full Review

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #303 is a solid comic. It's somewhat predictable in some ways but enjoyable and fun. The art is top notch and it moves the story arc along with some pretty big moments that'll play out for some time. It's not too late to dive into this next step for G.I. Joe and it's well worth the dive in. Read Full Review

There are spots in the issue where the exposition is cumbersome, but it's hard to argue with this level of smart visual storytelling. Read Full Review

I really want to see where this goes but like i said the think those few pages out of the main story felt more like speedbumps than staying on track. Read Full Review

Better than last issue, but I really don't like the way the issues just end at some random point in the story. Maybe it's a stylistic choice, but I prefer single issues to have a dramatic arc, ending in a cliffhanger of some sort.

Serpentor-Khan's bigger plans start to come into focus as a new alliance between he and the AI Revanche faction takes shape. I'm not fully bought in here to be honest. I feel like I need a few more issues to continue grounding myself in this new (to me) world because I still find myself trying to reference who is who when certain heroes aren't mentioned by name directly. Larry Hama's story doesn't bridge the gap for G.I. Joe newbies the way Williamson has done with Duke and Cobra Commander, but hardcore Joe fans will probably love how much this new run leans into the franchise's best attributes. There is also some wonderful artistry work going on Chris Mooneyham and Francesco Segala. Serpentor-Khan and members from the Revanche look amazing more
