Filled with compelling art, Monarch #4 asks why people act out their pain by hurting others. And why can't we, as a society, reduce the frequency of such acts?     I get wanting to crank up the tension and add in a human antagonist that makes the danger feel more personal. But compared to the rampaging cybernetic alien hoard blasting its way through Earth, a messed-up kid with a gun feels woefully out of place and a waste of time. Read Full Review
