Scarlett has fought her way to Arashikage's final test-a death-defying mission that could change Clan's fortunes. But where do Jinx's loyalties truly lie?
Capping things off with an anticipated reunion and the tease of big players moving forward makes this a hit across the board and one of my favorite comics of the week. Read Full Review
Thompson and Ferrari keep Scarlett looking remarkably good on her fourth outing. The flagship G.I. Joe title has rarely felt as fun or exhilarating as Scarlett has under Thompsons pen. Its sharp and clever stuff. Thompson maintains a smart sense of fun and action throughout the issue. There isnt a whole lot of depth of characterization or theme, but Scarlett is easily one of the best straight-ahead action titles on the comics rack today. If Thompson can keep the series running this well, theres no reason why it should ever end. Read Full Review
As Scarlett and Jinx lead simultaneous attacks on two Mugenonami strongholds, Scarlett holds her friend's fate in her hands. She must succeed, or her friend dies. Scarlett doesnt question her orders or debate the most ethical choice with her handler as she races to save Clan Arashikages ancient and powerful weapon in Scarlett #3. She was born for this. If only she could do it for the US military instead of a Japanese ninja clan! Read Full Review

It's a heart-pounding issue at a breakneck speed. Once you pick it up, you'll be on the last page. Now, where we go next with the big reveal at the end is very important, and I'm eager to get my hands on the next book. Read Full Review
Scarlett #3 is another tense action thriller focusing on one major sequence, promising new plot developments in the next issue. It's certainly lighter on the big picture, but it hammers home Scarlett's ability to kick ass and take names. Read Full Review
Scarlett #3 was a solid entry in the series though the earlier strong character development is noticeably absent. The cliffhanger teases a greater connection to the larger G.I. Joe corner of the Energon Universe, making for a long wait for the next installment. Read Full Review
SCARLETT #3 takes readers on a non-stop action ride from start to finish with G.I. Joe's greatest spy. That said, much of the action is nonsensical, and the central premise lacks stakes because neither Scarlett nor the readers know what she's trying to steal. Further, the art is just okay. On the whole, this is Skybound's weakest Energon title by far. Read Full Review
This was the strongest issue of the series so far. An extended action set piece with beautiful art and colors.
This was a strong issue. Great fighting and the swim? down the giant aquarium really felt like a mission impossible scene. I really dug it. Kelly is playing into the characters strengths this issue.
