A large variety of spaceships and alien architecture fill the pages set in the future, and they give this universe a grim look and feel. One splash page, where several ships wage battle, lighting up space with orange explosions and laser fire, is especially beautiful. Read Full Review
Starhenge #1 is nothing if not ambitious, and while there is much to digest in this first issue, there is much more promised that will bring this sci-fi, Arthurian epic into focus. I wanted to really like Starhenge #1 and as a concept I do. But, the flow of the narrative and art aren't quite polished creating a slightly jarring experience. You can piece together what's going on but it takes a bit to really connect the dots as things are laid out and a lot of questions remain. It's a sci-fi story that you just go with the flow, even if that flow is going to turn into a time traveling loop of a time. Read Full Review

I have been a fan of Liam Sharps work for years and was excited to support this creator-owned project as soon as I saw the solicit on the Comic Hub App. Liam does double duty as Writer and Artist which is a combination that proves to be comics gold.
Star Henge is a high concept project that blends Sci-fi and Fantasy. Book One lays the groundwork for the series, introducing characters and laying the worldbuilding foundation.
If I am interpreting the issue correctly, humanity discovers faster than light more
It looks great, but i'm not sure about that plot. Especially the one set in the modern day.
The art in this book is something else. For me it is the main selling point of the comic. But the story is a bit hard to read. I don't think it's supposed to make sense, but the allure of this wears down quickly. The characters talk a lot without saying much. The illustrations and paneling are awe inspiring but at the same time convoluted. It is a comic I admittedly enjoy for its uniquely epic artwork and overall narrative, but find hard to recommend.
Don't think the casual 'chill' narration fits with the story. It feels jarring.
