Mini-Series Premiere. The explosive double-sized first issue! After her mad-scientist father is killed by the world's greatest spy, 13-year-old Annalise is left all alone in the world. Sort of. Her dead dad's robot bodyguard is following her around for some reason. Now Annalise has a choice: try to lead a normal life for the first time ever...or seek revenge and maybe overthrow the world order in the process. Image Comics proudly presents a journey of regret and retribution, super spies and pseudoscience, growing up and global domination from brilliant artist Stefano Landini and okay writer Matthew Rosenberg.

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Mar 28, 2025

The big plot twist at the end of the firs issue makes it really feel like the series could have been. going for at least a couple of  issues before hitting that final scene. Rosenberg does such a witty job of delivering the personalities of the characters in question that it really feels like hes built a stronger emotional connection between the reader and the characters than a single issue really deserves to have. Theres such a rich sense of depth about the whole thing on so many levels. Its going to be interesting seeing this one develop in them months to come. Read Full Review
