This is one of the best series I have read lately. Everything you would want in a comic book is right here and then some. It;s such a blast to read I highly recommend picking this up. Things are getting intense and you definitely want on this ride! Read Full Review
And hey, at least this series is safe from Marvel's early cancellation chop, so we'll get a creative team capable to telling a full story for a while yet. Read Full Review
A ton of fun, though a slow plot does make it feel lighter in some way. Read Full Review
It may not be peak Guardians yet, but the foundation is getting stronger. Read Full Review
What the Guardians should be! a fun filled cosmic story, really loving this title.
This issue is pretty great. I had a lot of fun reading it! I loved Rocket in this issue and the interaction between the group as a whole. The Collector is well-done here, and the ending is quite intriguing. In addition to the excellent writing is the fine art of Aarron Kuder. This is fun, entertaining comics.
The Guardians escape the Collector thanks to Rocket's cunning and Gamora's bravado. High adventure beckons, but of course it wouldn't be the Guardians if the team weren't on the edge of breaking up. Nobody's pleased to be used as a means to an end by Gamora, who's orchestrating all this to get at the Soul Stone, and there's even a rift forming between Rocket and Groot. And we still don't know who's growing a sinister crop of evil Groots or what he (?) plans on doing with them. Great plotting and challenging characterization put this up above the realm of average comics, and Aaron Kuder's stellar art helps a great deal.
