Avengers Forever #12 is another fantastic and fun issue as the assembles multiversal Avengers face off against an army of rampaging Mephistos. High energy and high stakes beautifully and brutally told by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder. Read Full Review

A lot of toys are on the floor. All the action figures are there, and right when you think it is a bit of overkill, here comes the X-men. I think that saved the day in this amalgamation of Steves and Carols! Read Full Review

As for this one it certainly does have a lot of action in it and some jokes that I did not expect. Maybe better if you have been reading the series at this point or you will not really know what is going on but other than that it is good. Read Full Review

As a fan of Kuder's pencils, it's hard to look away, but there's simply too little to Avengers Forever to even make this issue or miniseries memorable. Read Full Review

They really need to figure out how to make this all feel like it matters.

The character work and humor are decent for a big climactic fight comic, but no more than decent. When it comes to plot, the artists might as well be working from 2 sentences. The fact that they spin some gold out of that straw is the only thing keeping this issue in "average" territory for me.

The fight years in the making and I just don't care even as these characters are re-showing up in splash fashion. Aaron Kuder is the only reason to get this because it makes all the noise happening worth looking at.

Round 3 of Aaron's opus isn't that different than 1 and 2. It's characters fighting and saying catchprases. Truly a brainless comic
