• Things didn't quite work out between Felicia and Johnny Storm (maybe because it was at least half just a way into 4 Yancy St).
• So the Black Cat has a REAL date. But with WHO?!?!
• Meanwhile, she doesn't know Odessa Drake and the Thieves Guild have captured her mentor The Black Fox and have horrible plans for him.

A lot is going on here. McKay is working on a story with many moving parts that never comes across as being too busy or cluttered with supporting details. It all feels very deftly paced as Black Cat concludes the first half of the first year of her own title. Its been an exciting journey across the shadows of the Marvel Universe thus far. Where McKay takes the series in the second half of his first year with Felicia shows every sign of being a really, really interesting place once everything has finally settled into place come next summer. For those who think that Felicia Hardy is only Selina Kyle lite, this title shows us a bit more of the feline personality which is quite different than anything we've seen in Selina. Read Full Review
The two storlyines unfold at simultaneously as Felicia enjoys her evening and the Fox runs from the Thieves Guild. It's good she enjoyed her night off, because now that her mentor has been captured, the Black Cat needs to get back in the game. Worth a look. Read Full Review
This iteration of Felicia continues to be devilishly entertaining, even when there's not much else going on around her. Read Full Review
When the Black Cat goes on a date, Felicia's yen for mischief and the Thieves' Guild meddling with her mentor ensure that the story can't wind up boring. Continued excellence in writing teams up with an outstanding serving of guest art to dance a complex storytelling jig. Previous issues proved that this take on Felicia was compelling; #6 shows that this volume has space for some intriguing improvisation while it continues to develop its bigger plot. Read Full Review
This was a good breather issue of Black Cat. It was nice to see the softer side of Felicia; I just wish Jed MacKay would have truly let her have a night off. Dowlings character art leaped off the page, perhaps more so because of the dull backgrounds. That said, the cliffhanger didnt wow me, but I am already invested enough for the eventual Thieves Guild heist to keep reading. Read Full Review
Felicia decompresses by dining, stealing, and boinking with Batroc. It's an unlikely match-up, but both thieves charm each other as well as the readers. And meanwhile, the Thieves' Guild kidnaps the Black Fox to keep the overarching plot moving. The art is a solid match to the title's established style, and I still find the prose delicious.
I kinda hope Batroc sticks around. Also, poor Black Fox.
Batroc is the best of us.
Issue feels like it should have been an annual. Had to look at page count coupe of times. Really is a downer than past few issues. Too much narration that is not needed.
A disappointing issue.
