If you haven't jumped on the Blood Hunt Comic Book train yet, this is the perfect comic to do just that. There is a lot going on (there's a list of comics at the end of this one), and you can enjoy a single story or all of them. Read Full Review
While Black Panther doesn't have much of a presence in the Blood Hunt tie-in, that is about to change with how the issue concludes. Read Full Review
Black Panther: Blood Hunt #2 must be respected for its ambition. The direction in which it has travelled is completely unexpected but not unwarranted. Read Full Review
Overall, Black Panther: Blood Hunt #2 is an expansive look into the myth of Wakanda, and how it shapes the Black Panther's current plight. I do hope that the next issue puts the focus back on the Black Panther - especially as he's found himself face to face with a few old enemies. Read Full Review
Really good issue chock full of mythology and spectacle. Maybe I'm just slow or missed stuff in the past, but this issue clarified the relationship of Khonshu and Bast and the rest of the pantheon of gods and made what's going on in Ultimate Black Panther a bit clearer to me. I knew they were the same kind of gods and everything, but specifying that Khonshu was the god of East Africa and it would be taboo to dabble in West Africa affairs without permission was interesting god-politics. Anyway, great art and great writing. Great cover too, would love that in a virgin.
This is seriously good!
I wish I was more into this, like everyone else seems to be. For whatever reason, it was a bit difficult for me to get invested in what was happening here. Maybe it was because I was a bit tired while reading this, I don't know. If anything, Karami's art was the best part of this, as I thought it was pretty good throughout.
