The Winter Soldier faces off against Iron Man!
The man at the top of Bucky's hitlist is finally in his grasp... but saying anything more than that will spoil all our surprises! Still, the final moments of this issue will stun fans just as much as the final moments of Captain America #25 did!
I think some readers will come into this issue with a slight amount of unconscious resentment. We've all been waiting for issue #34 and its big reveal of the new Captain America's identity. I know that's how I felt. I want to know already, darn it! Well, don't be surprised if you come out of this issue knowing more than you expected. The fight ended with Tony telling Bucky about Cap's letter and, later, showing said letter to him. As most expected, this obviously led to Tony offering Bucky the job as the new Captain America. It was handled well and, while no big shocker, was still quite enjoyable to see. I don't agree with the new Cap's costume, but I suspect Bucky will fill the role perfectly. Read Full Review

Captain America #33 was another phenomenal read. If you have not given this title a try then I absolutely urge you to do so. There is simply no other title as well crafted as this one. Brubaker's Captain America is one of the few comic books currently on the market that I would actually classify as literature. Read Full Review

Bucky becomes the new Captain America as the obvious choice but it is still nonetheless satisfying. This issue sets the future for this series and I can’t wait to see the Red Skull vs Bucky showdown that is looming on the horizon
