    All-Comic - Jacob Bryant Mar 10, 2014

The Iron Nail storyline has a pretty epic feel to it; one that could shake Cap's perspective on a great many things. If there is one person who knows how to strip a character down and build him back up it's Remender, and I can't wait to see what he has planned next for Cap. Read Full Review

Hero Nuggets - Val 'Brolossus' Benidze Mar 5, 2014

Remender's run is slowly improving, and serves as a great read once the whole Dr. Mindbubble shock is over. I sometimes forget that Captain America's villains are at times..colorful. (I'm lookin' at you, Batroc!) Overall, Captain America #18 is a major improvement from last issue. While not the most original concept, Remender adds a lot of credit to the story with his superb ability to capture Steve Roger's voice. Klein improves significantly on the art side, especially in his figure work and colors. While a lot of details are lacking in some panels, it's excuseable when there is only one artist working on both the book and cover. Thank you, Remender, for not making me hand out another sh*tty score to one of my favorite heroes of all time. Read Full Review

Nic Klein does the same awesome stuff here that we have been praising for months now. He's a superstar in the making, a man who knows how to draw a superhero comic. This issue does look slightly more rushed than the others, but given Marvel's insane shipping schedule, it's pretty understandable. Dean White holds down the fort with his color magic, too. The art in this series is top notch, even when the story drags. Klein and White make a hell of a team. Read Full Review

This issue is essentially the action filler as Rick Remender and Nic Klein build to the main confrontation. Read Full Review
