Rated T+
Overall, this chapter is a thought-provoking issue that examines the burdens of leadership and the ever-evolving role of Captain America in a complex world. Pick it up if you enjoy character development and stories that explore the social and political aspects of superheroes. If you prefer a more traditional superhero adventure with high-octane action, you might want to pass on this issue. Read Full Review
Captain America #10 provides a challenging reading experience, not in that it is difficult to parse but that the stilted dialogue, overt exposition, ill-considered plot mechanics, and other problems make it challenging to maintain interest. Read Full Review
Plot
Steve and Carlos arrive in London to recruit Seer, a mutant with psychic powers who is a leader in her community.
As soon as they meet her, they are attacked by an assault team sent by Asmoday. Cap manages to defeat most of the mercenaries but Seer helps him.
However, there is a powerful twist in the plot that will leave you wanting to know more.
Art
It is a hyperrealistic art that will leave you stunned. Body language successfully expresses emotions and situations.
Summary
Captain America and Skinz recruit a new member of the defense team against Asmoday, but she comes with a deadly secret.
Jesus Saiz's fantastic art is the saving element here for a story that won't be remembered a few months from now. The way this arc just spent all the great will from the first arc baffles me. Not bad but this feels like the 3 or 4 filler episodes that don't matter in a 22 episodes season.
