It's just as good as you'd expect, and maybe even a little better. An ending that effectively and powerfully sets up a new beginning. Read Full Review
For those of you who didn't connect the dots between Deadpool #34 and Secret Empire #8, Gerry Duggan does it for you while also singing a swan-song for Deadpool's days as an Avenger. Superb - if pretty depressing - character work elevates this issue above average and gives Deadpool's Secret Empire story a rather more meaningful end than the main event received.
Maria Hill i a bitch. But without it good issue.
One of the better Secret empire tie-ins. Unfortunately it being after Secret empire loses it points.
That was just a super sad ending for Wade. At first I thought it was a disappointingly misleading cover but in hindsight it was diabolically misdirecting joke as DP would want it. Unfortunately when a standard regenerating superhuman can survive a Ground Zero bombing it's a real turn off, hence a drop in rating. Plus, it was unclear what Kobik reset (ie. who was resurrected) and I am torn on deciding if DP jobbed against Maria Hill.
