• I just realized -
• Deadpool has trouble being frank...
• And Frank Castle has trouble being dead.
• ...well, I thought it was funny.

It's a delight to read a comic book that respects the main characters and Van Lente does it. This third issue reveals the main aspects of personality from Deadpool and Punisher. Any new fan with zero knowledge about these characters would understand perfectly their beliefs and motivations. Read Full Review
For a one-shot, Deadpool vs. Punisher is making some big waves. I hope nobody sleeps on this series, it's proving that more than just large-scale crossover events deserve your respect. Read Full Review
Another fun and entertaining issue in this series. The art is wonderful and the story while not very in depth is more about the interactions between Deadpool and Frank than the actual plot. Their dynamic with each other is hilarious and keeps me reading. I do not normally laugh out loud when I read comics, but the part where Frank yelled at Deadpool that he was in the military just made me laugh picturing Frank just losing his mind and patience with Wade. Overall, a great comic with my continued interest into the next issue.
Taskmaster takes on the key villain role as the Deadpool/Punisher team-up rolls onward. While this issue's revelations are fascinating and surprising, they don't *quite* blend into the previous issues. The humor is back up to top quality and there are more than enough cool twists to build anticipation for the next installment. There's also an outstanding chase/fight going on here, capably illustrated by Pere Pérez's smart layouts and clean lines.
This round should have gone to Punisher again, what's up with that? This continues to be a surprisingly entertaining crossover, although Punisher is slightly out of character at times. I also don't get where Deadpool went because he never actually catches up with Taskmaster.
