• I just realized -
• Deadpool has trouble being frank...
• And Frank Castle has trouble being dead.
• ...well, I thought it was funny.

Pere Prez is an amazing artist, the fighting panels are astonishing. Great motion between characters and specially the techniques applied in the fight. Either Van Lente or Prez knows their martial arts. Read Full Review

This issue strikes a very good balance between the comedic aspects and the action. I'm very curious to see if the final issue can neatly wrap it all up. Read Full Review
Highly entertaining, reference-heavy stuff here. PvD is reading like Tango and Cash with a dash of Into The Badlands. The weaving of Taskmaster into the story is kind of amazing. The combat sequences are a thing of beauty, deftly handled with great comic timing and well thought out layouts across panels. Long story short, PvD is funny and exciting. Deadpool trying to cozy up to Frank is borderline cute really, "Punpool! Deadisher!" Needless to say, the Internet is 'shipping' these two to no end. Between the laughs and the really cool combat sequences, I give Punisher vs. Deadpool #4" Read Full Review
This series has far exceeded my expectations. What you get is a great read with Van Lente really knowing what to do with the characters. This issue is just as fun as the others and the art is top notch. I can't wait to see how it ends next issue!
Can we talk about the art and layout of this damn book. The two pages where it's Frank, Taskmaster and Deadpool at it is absolutely beautiful. It makes sense with the little hints of Taskmaster's glimpse into fighting styles is lovely. Perez and Redmond out did themselves and that ENDING UGGH!!! Awesome sauce!
I loved this issue and love this series. Good fun all around, and surprisingly heavy.
Van Lente has a knack for odd couple adventures and Perez provides top notch layouts.
Punisher and Deadpool team up to defeat Taskmaster and save the innocent kid. So heartwarming! And then Wade celebrates by shooting Frank in the head. Um, that sentence gets a lot more serious when you reshuffle the names into that order. Wade has a pretty wonderful conversation with the kid at the start of this book, and then we're into full-on three-way fight time. In both scripting and art this fight is ambitious, but I think the finished effect isn't *quite* as amazing as the creators hoped. It's still better-than-average entertainment and it does a perfect job of building anticipation for the finale.
