May 01, 2025The writing in Deadpool & Wolverine: World War III was fantastic. The dynamic chemistry between the main characters was palpable, and I particularly enjoyed Wolverine's introspective monologue throughout the comic. It added a layer of vulnerability to Wolverine, allowing readers to glimpse into his thoughts and emotions. Joe Kelly really did an impeccable job on this first installment and I can't wait to read what does with the next one. Read Full Review

May 08, 2024Wolverine hunts monsters. But is Wolverine a hunter or a monster? Its a question Logan can't avoid when Wade Wilson reminds him of the difference between them in Deadpool & Wolverine WWIII #1. Read Full Review

May 01, 2024If you're looking for a good fight comic, Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIIIdelivers and then some. The art is dynamic, and the characterization of its heroes is spot on. I was left wanting as far as what the threat is, but it's clearly a slower reveal sort of story. Read Full Review

May 01, 2024There's a twist that, somehow feels like the best possible version of what Fox did with Deadpool at the end of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and it could result in Wade's character finally evolving for the first time in what feels like decades. Or maybe will get a comedic rug pull in a couple of issues. Either works! Read Full Review

Plot Wolverine answers Deadpool's call to stop a mutant with enhanced powers and by defeating him, Deadpool sends him clues about his location. But these clues are for a trap that someone is preparing that includes a kind of Superhuman Fight Club, there is someone behind all of this manipulating this situation. This comic starts with a lot of action, mystery and leaves nothing clear, yet you want to know what happens. Art It is a demonstration of the artistic level of Adam Kubert, who mixes classic art with new angles and a lot of blood and dynamism. Summary Wolverine responds to Wolverine's mysterious call, not knowing that there is someone behind this encounter.

Solid writing, great art. One page was particularly cool for Wolverine. Look for the variant cover.

Strong overall in art and writing; the only problem I see is that so far it hasn't done anything particularly interesting in the storytelling department.

Solid comic book. Everything is in the right place, and it runs smoothly. The team behind this one is made up of seasoned pros. It's possibly your favorite type of comic book ride-the one you went to many times before. Here's a chance to do it again. There's nothing wrong with this book, there's nothing new either, but that's not a problem. By the cover, you know what you'll get: It's going to be a three-issue battle with Wolverine and Deadpool. That's exactly what it delivers. Adam Kubert's artwork is beautiful and engaging, so it gets points for that, making it just above staple. I can't imagine anyone expecting this to be more than what it is, unless you're new to this whole comic book thing. Lots of Wolverine, lots of Deadpool. Yup. Nuf more
