Doctor Strange #11 delivers a cooldown issue wherein Strange and Clea have their hands full during a babysitting assignment gone wrong. MacKay's story is amusing without being jokey, and the guest artist on assignment turns in an excellent set of visuals. Read Full Review

    Plot
Stephen and Clea Strange babysit Clea's sister Donna once a week, taking her to the amusement park, but this place is attacked by Circus of Crime, a group of villains made up of Stefano Stiletto, Chief Beef, Gym-Nasty and led by RingMistress. They will activate a mechanism called Hypnowheel with which they will hypnotize everyone present in the park to help them steal.

But Donna senses the presence of this plan and decides to stop them with her powers. Of course, she is the daughter of Umar and Tiboro, two of the most powerful Supreme Sorcerers in the multiverse.

Clea, Spehen and Bats come to the aid of Donna, who saves the day and awakens in Clea and Strange the desire to be a family...but they don't know if more

A fun one-shot issue of sorts following the awesome "General Strange" storyline. This didn't get to the heights of that story, in terms of quality, but I still thought this was a nice change of pace that, maybe, planted some seeds for future storylines to come. I also enjoyed the Beyruth as the guest artist. Not everything was fantastic, but I didn't dislike any page I saw whatsoever.

I've loved this series but after reading this issue I had to double check to see if MacKay actually wrote this or if it was a guest writer. Much to my chagrin it was in fact MacKay who penned this horrible mess of a comic. I'll just say slapstick, YA style, buffoonery is not in MacKay's wheelhouse. This was awful. The only good thing was the development of the relationship between Donna and Bats, but I mean what kid doesn't love dogs. Overall this was a skippable issue that tries to hard to be light hearted and winds up just sounding amateur.
