This annual has a little something for everyone who is a fan of Domino " old school or new school, there's great art and good stories aplenty. Read Full Review
Overall a great mix of creative talent, with everyone getting an equal share of the spoils and delivering a view of Domino in their own definitive voice. All of whom manage to seamlessly blend the larger story into one grand piece, without the narrative or art coming off jarring. A major achievement considering the vastly different cast of Unusual Suspects on hand. Read Full Review
While reading the annual is not essential to keeping up with the main storyline--the only references to the ongoing series are Diamondback and Outlaw--it is still worth a read. These mini-stories help give more characterization to Domino, and offer readers a chance to see multiple creative teams interpretations of the character. Read Full Review
I'd like to see them do more with this issue and Domino down the road. Again, it's being subtle about a larger topic that can afford to be mixed in when the majority of comic book characters are jacked. Read Full Review
Domino's first annual is a fun, fast anthology that captures all of the character's wit. It expands on important relationships and proposes some new ones, too. Words and art are all crafted with the highest skill. This isn't just a reward for faithful Domino readers; it's a very engaging invitation for newbies to come aboard. Read Full Review
The Domino annual has its ups and downs. The action is handled very well all throughout the book. The more emotional moments lacked some of what they needed to hit hard. Overall this is a fun book with optimistic and positive messages that make it worth the read. Read Full Review
A nice mix of stories and art styles, with a couple of rough moments but nothing that quite brings the whole thing down. Plus, the origin of The Posse! Read Full Review
The book might be worth the cover price if only for short, beautiful Cable story. Read Full Review
A cover that actually represents what/who will be in the actual story! Love it and also happy that Greg Land won't be doing covers for Domino going forward, they just didn't match the tone of the series in my mind and probably even scared off a lot of readers who would have otherwise gravitated towards a Gail Simone written Domino series
A great first meeting with Outlaw with a Mad Max style Sentinel Villain. The Cable story was gritty and well drawn. I wasn't aware Colossus and Domino were a thing, but definitely want to see more in the future of those two.
Thought about dropping this and trade waiting going forward, but this Annual sold me to keep this on my Pull List. Go Gail Go.
