Blink's original time-traveling companions make an appearance, including fan-favorites Sabretooth, Morph and Nocturne! And they're just in time for a showdown with the gunslinging Brotherhood of Evil Mutants! But what does that mean for Blink and her NEW family of Exiles? And the Exiles aren't the only familiar faces in town. They call him "King," and you do not want to find yourself in his Vibranium crosshairs. Who is the Black Panther of the Wild West - and what does he want with the Exiles?!

The series is starting to pick up, and I am excited to see where it goes. I can't wait to see what lessons I will learn in some upcoming disastrous atmosphere. Saladin Ahmed and the guest artist team need to take all my dolla dolla bills if they going to continue pushing content out like this. Read Full Review
Events continue to race along, but the weight of history is heavy in what continues to be one of the absolute best looking superhero comics to debut in 2018. Read Full Review
Exiles #7 is a strange and fun adventure hampered slightly by a character death that feels unnecessary and unearned. Regardless of that flaw, the remainder of the book is still very enjoyable and worthy of a recommendation. Check it out. Read Full Review
Brings back some of the original Exiles, but doesn't quite stick the landing emotionally. It's an issue that seems like it's going to have big consequences. Read Full Review
Blink and friends win a costly victory over their foes. There's some definite roughness to the art. This issue's arch-antagonist gets drawn with a riff on 80s-era Sienkiewicz, though, and I'm a total sucker for that when it's done well. It's done VERY well here. The script has some powerful beats, but the overall pace is rushed. Given the introduction of another artist for the last three pages, I'm thinking this story got compressed when Rod Reis's schedule kept him from drawing a third issue.
Best issue of this series so far
If I don't like a lot of the story, I appreciate all references to the first volume, and there is some good too in this story with a major surprise. Will see where the cliffhanger send us next.
Cover - Related in a way, not so good. 1/2
Writing - I still have a issue with Ahmed work. He clearly seem to respect the original stuff & try something different. But at the same time what he do is not really good. 1.5/3
Arts - Not my kind of art. But there is really nice panel & that give the surprising character a great mad look. 2.5/3
Feeling - I will keep it in my pull list, but I'm less & less convinced. 0/2
