The danger now rests on both sides of the dimensional commute for Gwen. Shes got problems back home. Shes got problems at college. Shes got problems in and out of the mask. Peter Parker rarely had to deal with this sort of thing when he was in college. Its very reassuring to see Gwen so effectively juggling everything that McGuire is throwing at her. Read Full Review
Ghost-Spider #3 did an excellent job of telling us three stories (perhaps four) all at the same time. And while we can assume that at some point those plots are going to merge, we don't yet know how. And I, for one, am looking forward to seeing it happen. Read Full Review
Every so often in comics, you get a writer that really understands the character. Seanan McGuire understands Gwen. You get a great sense that Gwen is starting to not trust herself and her abilities. This couldnt come at a worse time, as the Jackal and his plan are getting ready to be in full swing. Overall this was a strong set-up issue for #4 and what Im betting is going to be a great vehicle to deliver the Jackals plan. Read Full Review
Ghost Spider #3 is the calm before the storm, as Seanan McGuire continues to build Gwen's antagonists in the background to become even bigger threats. Read Full Review
Although the Man-Wolf isn't going away, it looks like the Jackal (either or both) has emerged as the looming threat for Gwen (no matter which world she's on). We do get another cameo from Peter Parker, but there are other Spider-characters who know more about the Jackal, will either of them make an appearance? Worth a look. Read Full Review
Ghost-Spider #3 starts to hammer on Gwen's brief moment of dimension-hopping happiness. Despite the issue's heavy focus on her main antagonists, the first blows come from further afield. Another serving of outstanding art and more excellent characterization for Gwen backstop the slow-moving villain plots and keep the reading experience rewarding. Read Full Review

Aaaaah I love the dialogue. So tasty. I wanna eat it with a fork.
I'm having a lot of fun with this series. It's the spider-book that feels the most... nostalgic to me? I get a lot of Spider-Man: The Animated Series vibes from this, even though it is nothing like that.

First issue in the Spider-Gwen books that I actually like! Very enjoyable! Wish art would be tad bit more detail but other than that, dig the dialogue and the story. Has my attention.
Man I’m starting to get the vibe that this dude is a creep.
