In the stunning climax of INFINITY WARS, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy makes the ultimate sacrifice. Look back at the life of a fallen Guardian and the empty space they leave behind in what's left of the universe.

Infinity Wars: Fallen Guardian #1 is a decent book with a fair bit of nostalgia for Drax the Destroyer fans. It serves as a nice epilogue for Infinity Wars, but also stands solidly by itself. It's not going to be required reading for anyone, but it is certain to find its fans, as the concept of the Guardians of the Galaxy closes one chapter and looks toward the future. Read Full Review
Albeit a bit disappointing, the issue doesn't include any Earth-shattering revelation despite the title and prior marketing. Read Full Review
Gerry Duggan writes the ode to Arthur Douglas he's been aching to put on paper for a year or two. It's a sweet celebration of a crazy but not complex character, and it's built to function as a solid, all-in-one launchpad for Drax's inevitable return somewhere down the line. Andy MacDonald's clean, chunky art is perfect for illustrating Arthur's "K-Billy's Super Sounds of the 70s" vibe, but the artist also does very well with the contemporary bits of Infinity Wars that poke into Arthur's story.
Is it essential? Weeeell, that's an interesting question. I guess "no," not in terms of Earth-shaking status quo changes. If the trainwreck of Infinity Wars taught me anything, though, it's that big status quo shakeups do not, by themselves more

A good character driven book for Drax and Arthur Douglas, that later sets up the future for the character Drax within the Marvel Universe. The art by Andy MacDonald is inconsistent throughout the book and the colours by Chris O'Halloran are just ok i guess.
Overall, if u are a fan of the character Drax, then u should read this book.
This is a really unnecessary one-shot but it was written well. It's probably a warranted retelling of Drax's origins, since most people may not know it. It's nice that Drax gets a happy ending. It's tying up a loose end from All-New GotG. The Thanos Copter was fun too. I don't know, this was written well enough.
They could make it as some backstory in other book. It's nice but still a stretched out eulogy for a minor character.
Is this like the actual canon of Drax’s origin? I’m so confused. It was nice though.
