Heart of the Dragon #2 is a quality addition to the miniseries, neatly following up an explosive first issue with perfectly paced story development and additional action that keeps the whole story running strong. Read Full Review
You know I was not super-excited about Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon #2. I mean, I enjoyed the first issue and I am a huge Iron Fist fanboy, but it just didn't have me super-hyped. But, man, this was a fun issue. I loved every little bit of it. Hama builds up the story well, while Wachter and Menon drop some beautiful artwork. I am very excited for the next for issues after what has happened here. Read Full Review

The second issue of this new Iron Fist story works just as well as the first, telling a solid story with mostly good characters. Read Full Review
Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon #2 is fairly light on plot to the point of being nigh-inconsequential, yet its art is a wonder to behold. Hopefully, the next issue is more substantial in terms of plot and action. Read Full Review
If this mini-series gets some time to breathe sort itself out even the slightest bit, the end result could be something very special. Read Full Review
The story is really picking up and has me really interested.
Great art and the story chugs along. Reminds me of the days of the black and white Marvel magazines and specifically the Iron Fist story from Deadly Hands of Kung Fu. Has a huge scope and a semi-dreamlike execution. I dig it.
Mother of Mercy charts out a nice apocalyptic scope for the story ahead; Danny leads his pals (with more Immortal Weapons) straight into the Hidden City. I like the dynamic strength of the art, and this issue's script doesn't feel as pretentious as the last one. It's got an enjoyable fast pace, too, but the abrupt way it cuts off is a bit disappointing.
It was fun and had some good parts but overall but not that special.
I wish I were more invested in this. There are good moments, but this side of the Marvel Universe hasn't ever really spoken to me.
