I had enjoyed the last couple of Journey series that we had and this one started off with some potential but this installment feels like it's spinning its wheels a bit while coming a bit more off-model. I'm not looking for photorealistic but the physical aspects of Leia leans a lot more toward her original trilogy era than her resistance era. I do like some of the threads that weave through this but it's mostly just action without much else to give it any real meat. Read Full Review
A predictable installment with some fun visuals makes this an adequate read. I'm not thrilled with the story, but it will feed my constant need for new Star Wars tales. I'm hoping there's a bigger twist in both stories in the next issue. The visuals are good, though an alien race that features strongly in one tale looks odd. If you are just interested in the movies then what happens in the story probably wont interest you, but if you want some more Star Wars to tide you over then I would recommend it. Read Full Review
Luke Ross's art is still mostly great, he's one of the most consistent Marvel Star Wars artists. It's overall a pretty good miniseries. I hope that the fourth and final issue can stick the landing and bring me back to enjoying it as much as I was after the first issue. Read Full Review
It's absolutely entertaining to watch Poe and Finn improvise their way out of trouble and see more displays of Rey's fighting skills and growing abrasive attitude, but nothing about the story feels necessary for any of these characters. Read Full Review
Cool battle, more of an action issue. I'm curious to see how this gets resolved with just on issue to go.
In some ways, this comic makes Finn more exciting than he is in the movies. A very good issue.
