Overall, the issue acts as a solid finale, but doesn't rise to being a great one. Read Full Review

The issue is bad capping off a miniseries that seemed to get worse at it went on. Liefeld, and the team, made a splash with this, just not in the right way. Now, hopefully history repeats and another creator picks up the ball and does something interesting going forward with what has been set up. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Daniel Clark Jul 3, 2019

By now, the gimmick of Major X has run thin to the point that even ninety die-hard fans may struggle to find anything of value with this series. Even looking at the surface level there is not much offered. Action is sparse, lacking in impact, and unable to capitalize on the limited potential the premise provides. At best Major X is a transparent cash grab of pandering nostalgia, at worst it step backward for the evolution of comics as we once again dive deep into the gimmicks that nearly ruined the entire medium. I Review Comics Nov 18, 2020

a Boi Zack of Comics Matter Youtube is giving up regular comic reviews going into 2021. Zack says that the interest in modern comics just isn't there and ultimately nothing coming out of the mainstream matters anymore to its target audience. I somewhat disagree, there are some good books out there but with series like Major X, it's hard not to see where he's coming from.

Now that Major X has ended you'll never see these characters again. Major X isn't a horrible character he's just redundant. He's a throwback to the 90s and doesn't fit in with anything going on with the X-Men post "House of X" - "Dawn of X". He feels like a relic and I doubt that Major X would have caught on even if he was created during Rob Liefield's creative more

These characters talk like Siri reading a plot synopsis. Even with access to Marvel Unlimited -- 30,000 comics across 8 decades -- I don't think I can find a comic with dialogue worse than Major X #6.
