• MILES and SHIFT'S hunt through the Multiverse has landed them back in New York City, but it's not the NYC they know - it's THE EMPIRE OF THE SPIDER! And evil Miles clone, SELIM, has crowned himself emperor!
• To defeat the oppressive regime, Miles will need the help of rebel leaders GENERAL GANKE LEE and CAPITÁN BILLIE MORALES, who has grown up in a world without her brother and where SPIDER-MAN represents only pain and suffering.
• And if Miles fell to Selim, what does that mean for the fate of PETER PARKER?!

Foche delivers some fantastic visuals throughout the issue. The action is thrilling and the tone of the art does a brilliant job of complementing the emotion of the story. Read Full Review
Ahmed's work continues to be great though and even with a less-than-great issue, it's still a solid Spider-Man story (even if one particular moment seems very out of character). Read Full Review
Even a decade into his existence, Miles Morales is a character that Marvel Comics doesn't seem to know how to use at all and continues to coast off the same story fumes over and over again. Its solid. I just wish we'd see more of the villain sooner. The ending stinger is very interesting tho
I'm still enjoying this series, but it is becoming a little random here and there. However, there is still enough here to enjoy.
It's satisfying, it's enjoyable, it moves the arc along. It's crafted with solid skill and zero serious faults in either words or art. It'll please people reading through the series.
But this issue isn't a reason to start reading, and I don't think it'll stick in anyone's memory as a high point.
It's nothing deep but, it's a lot of fun. Basic Miles story.
