Comic Book Resources - Ryan K. Lindsay Nov 12, 2010

There might be specific ingredients of this comic that aren't perfect, but as a complete recipe on a plate, "New Avengers" #6 is still delicious. It isn't trying to educate anyone, nor is it expecting to trigger a plethora of emotions. This comic wants to be your one-stop action spot where you can marvel at what comics can be. It's ballistic fun and well worth your time. Read Full Review

Jump in on the next issue because a new storyline will be starting, and it's most likely going to be all mystical related stories. It should be pretty good, but as for this issue, you're really not missing too much other than the death of a character. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen Nov 10, 2010

Given the somewhat frustrating finish to this arc, Stuart Immonen remains the brightest point of light in the series. His art is gorgeous throughout the book, properly showcasing the battle scenes but also capturing all the emotion of the climax and its fallout. As much as New Avengers continues to struggle to distinguish itself among the crowded Avengers line-up, Immonen's art will always make this series worth reading. Read Full Review
