New Fantastic Four #1 is a fun book to read. Even if you have no history with the original run, the characters are well established. This allows readers to jump right into the story without having to spend time researching backstories. While some of the plot points seem rudimentary, there is enough promise here to give readers hope that the story will get better. If you are looking for a read that will neither burden you with a ton of back matter nor a long-term commitment, then this is a book for you. Read Full Review
NEW FANTASTIC FOUR #1 was incredibly easy to read, comfortable, calm, and felt like a sitcom with so many of my favorites. Its a stress-free comic reliving a time in comic history where stories carried little weight and were created simply to be entertaining and not life-changing. David hits the nail on the head this week and creates a comic I wasnt expecting but couldnt help but love. Give NEW FANTASTIC FOUR #1 a shot but keep an open mind with your expectations. Let me know what you think, have a great week, and God Bless! Read Full Review
New Fantastic Four #1 makes no promises beyond its elevator pitch: Ghost Rider, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine walk into Las Vegas. Luckily, it exceeds its own simplicity and delivers something playful and self-aware. Read Full Review
New Fantastic Four #1 isn't bad but it also doesn't excite. The best moment involves Spider-Man and the Vulture and then a later joke involving the Vulture. It sets things up nicely but doesn't do it in a way that you have to read the next issue. It sadly feels like a forgettable spin-off miniseries or a short story arc where you just wait for the next bit thing. Nostalgia is great but we need a bit more than this. Read Full Review

Never been a great fan of the FF but seeing my all time favourite Superheroes taking the place of the original ones was a blast!
The story is very entertaining, with some humor and action. These improbable team gathered together because of the feeling that something mysterious was happening in Las Vegas. As we will see, a Demons is corrupting humans!
The art is great, it reminds me the 90’s a period which I personally loved. Lastly, also the color palette is good, really love Spidey costume and Mr. Fixit.
I really look forward to know more about Father Priest and how the new FF will handle Mr. Ash!
I like the art. I'm halfway hooked on the plot; it's a bit slow to start, but I'm eager to learn more.
That's mainly because I *love* the humor. There's a lot of it, maybe too much for some readers, but I liked every gag. I never expected Peter David and I to achieve consensus on comedy (or anything, really), but here we are.
Most of the time, these kind of one-off teamups are pretty silly and throwaway. But this was actually a well-executed, entertaining and sometimes funny story that was worth the cover price! I was pleased to find myself really enjoying the series and not wondering why I had pulled it in the first place.
While I enjoyed this, I can't rate it higher than an 8, given that it's "disposable" (a continuity/timeline insert for a (meta) joke team that probably should never have been revisited). Having said that, I enjoyed all these characters at the time and bought FF #347-349 on the stand, so there is some nostalgia factored in for me.
