A Predator unlike any other, "Skinner" has no clan or code, so no one is safe - including MJ, who finds herself trapped on a stalled subway train deep beneath the city. PARENTAL ADVISORY
Predator Versus Spider-Man #2 is subtly adding depth to the Predator lore and furthering their story while introducing us to stomach-wrenching scenes. Setting up this three-way battle is building anticipation at a perfect pace that I cannot wait to see pay off. Read Full Review
Predator vs. Spider-Man #2 delivers a relentless blend of tension, terror, and heroism, elevating both its superhero roots and horror influences. Percy skillfully juggles multiple character arcs while maintaining tight narrative momentum, and Ferreria's art swings seamlessly from high-flying action to blood-chilling dread. With powerful visuals, sharp dialogue, and a final page that leaves the story teetering on the edge of chaos, this issue cements the series as a thrilling collision of genres, and the next chapter can't come soon enough. But the truly disturbing images come when MJ stumbles upon Skinner's lair. Without hyperbole, I can say it's some of the most horrifying moments I've witnessed in a Spider-Man comic, and it only showcases how much danger Spidey, MJ and the rest of New York is in. Predator vs. Spider-Man #2 not only keeps the momentum of the first issue, but it manages to balance the superhero and horror element with ease, leading to a last page reveal that only promises Percy and Ferreria are getting started. MJ and a little girl escape through the subway tunnels from the ferocity of this Predator, who dresses his entire body in different human skins. His alias, SKINNER, couldn't be more chillingly accurate.
MJ arrives at a hideout where all of Skinner's trophies are kept...a shocking image.
Peter begins investigating these murders in the library; there's no internet connection due to the blackout. At the library, he finds articles from different years in different parts of the world that all agree occur during the hottest summers.
Detective Lapearl arrives at Peter's apartment to interrogate him. She believes he's the killer because of the photos he took while posing as a forensic scientist. She runs into Kraven more
Great comic! What more can one ask for than Kraven hunting a Predator?I would love to see this movie one day.
Another good issue, but I have a question about the Predator killing innocent, unarmed people. That's not how the Predator works. Even in Predator 2, the bodies that the police find were drug dealers who were all armed. This is not the MO of a Predator. I do like the cop in this issue going after Peter and then having a fight with Kraven. Adding Kraven to this story is a must-have. Mary Jane taking control in the sewers. Let's see where this goes.
