Michael: 10/10 - As far as Punisher books go, this is as close to perfection as I believe I'll ever see in my lifetime. The art shines and the writing and torment are something truly amazing and absolutely felt by the reader from start to finish. Read Full Review

Punisher: Red Band #3 is a grim, gripping chapter that pushes Frank Castle to a breaking point while elevating its villains to horrifying new heights, all wrapped in a tense setup that promises explosive confrontations ahead. With unflinching art and razor-sharp writing, it's a brutal but compelling middle act. Read Full Review

Plot Frank Castle stops the truck and frees some prostitutes being trafficked, after first confronting a very large killer. But this encounter makes Frank feel dangerous and out of control, so he begins to delve into his few remaining memories and finds his lair, where he remembers his name and how the mind-control chip was implanted. Kingpin uses Micro to activate his mind-control equipment. Micro is physically and mentally exhausted and asks them both for a break, which Kingpin grants. Tombstone tortures NYPD Detective Fishback in the home of the elderly woman who took Frank in. Tombstone finally discovers that the Punisher is behind all the attacks that have disrupted his fraudulent activities. This sequence is graphic and full of more

I had to check if this was really the same artist as in issues 1 and 2, since there is a definite decrease in quality. Turns out it's the same one, so maybe he just didn't have as much time for issue 3? Whatever the reason, the faces look less realistic and there's some sketchiness to the book that I didn't notice in the earlier issues. It's still good enough to carry the story though. Speaking of the story, I have no complaints, except that Frank seems to be able to break out of his mind control pretty early. The violence is a bit much for my taste, but I guess that's the concept of the Red Band imprint. All in all, a good comic that reminds me of the times when you could pick up almost any Marvel comic and have a great reading experienc more

It's good for the most part. The art is a little inconsistent, but the story remains fine for what it is.

I'm not a fan of the artwork in this book. It way over-exaggerates Frank's upper body. Not a whole lot happens in this issue, but it is leading up to something big. We have both the Kingpin and Tombstone as villains. The body count is pretty high. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. My Rewview Channel - https://youtu.be/0w73psI09Rs

It's slightly better than average, but doesn't come close to reaching the bar that previous writers have set for this character.
