• Everyone's favorite pistol-packin' procyon* finally finds himself face-to-face with the intergalactic imposter.
•  It's macho ado about everything as Macho Gomez guest-stars and the Ex-Terminators are hot on Rocket's tail!
*Procyon is the scientific term for raccoon, obviously.

We The Nerdy - Oscar Russell Sep 4, 2014

Rocket Raccoon is a book everyone should be at least trying out, especially those fans of the recent Guardians of the Galaxy movie as issue 2 could have been lifted straight out of that. Read Full Review

Infinite Comix - Dan Gehen Sep 5, 2014

Despite the almost surreal world Young has crafted, he manages to keep the characters fairly grounded, which best demonstrated through their dialogue. No matter the circumstances Rocket and his supporting cast find themselves in, their reactions are genuine and true to their portrayals in the greater Marvel tapestry. New readers curious about the world of Guardians of the Galaxy will be able to pick up Rocket Raccoon #3 and find the characters recognizable when compared to their cinematic counterparts. That alone makes this series a success. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Harrison Rawdin Sep 5, 2014

Rocket Raccoon #3 is an extravaganza that never really features any depth, which in all honestly could be labeled as its only problem. Even so the quality work on display and the spunky attitude help this release get a recommendation from me. Read Full Review

    IGN - Tres Dean Sep 4, 2014

Skottie Young's Rocket Raccoon book is everything a comic about an anthropomorphic gun-savvy rodent should be. It's wildly fun and tremendously imaginative. It's no leap to say that Rocket Raccoon may be the most unique Marvel book out there these days. Read Full Review

Big Comic Page - Chris Bennett Sep 4, 2014

As I've said in my Star Lord review, this is so much more fun than what is going on in the main GoTG book right now, and while it might not be the same iteration that people are used to from DnA's run on Guardians, its a damn fine book and I can only hope Marvel don't milk it for all its worth and ruin it. Razorfine - Alan Rapp Sep 12, 2014

We'll have to wait at least another month for the story behind the other raccoon, and probably even longer to find out how the latest setback effects Amalya's murderous plans, but Skootie Young delivers yet again matching art and story for some bizarre fun. Worth a look. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - David Pepose Sep 4, 2014

The artwork for this series is absolutely dazzling, and the dialogue is laugh-out-loud funny - even with a thin plot, Skottie Young still manages to impress with Rocket Raccoon, one of the most technically proficient books Marvel is printing today. Read Full Review

Comic Booked - Newell Turner Sep 4, 2014

While this issue felt mostly like filler, it was still fun and worth checking out just for Skottie Young's art. I just hope that next issue starts to actually move the story along some more. Read Full Review
