Rowell's expertise in writing great characters and great dialogue really shines in this issue. It may be all about a pair of conversations, but they are very well done, very emotional and character-based conversations. The overall story is just plain fun. Read Full Review

Aww, yeah! it's the Gert romance issue! With double the Gert! Gert and Chase! Gert and Victor! (And Chase and Van! I'm rooting for you, Van!) This is the sort of amazing romantic ... rhomboid? ... you can only get with time-travel shenanigans. It's beautifully rendered in words and art, and yet ... it's satisfying, deeply satisfying. But It's not quite jaw-dropping, ya know?

Best line: "I thought you didn't CARE if I was a robot assassin!" - "ARE you?"

Spoilers: Chase totally leaves Van from Haul Mart hanging, lol.

Not a particularly interesting issue. Two couples talk about their relationship, withe first one giving us a bit of plot progression. Paneling could have helped with the... for the lack of a better world, dullness, but oh well.
