The looming threat of Kulan Gath reunites Dr. Strange and Magik on Krakoa. The fate of the world will rest in what they discover. Re-presenting a pair of classics, UNCANNY X-MEN 190 & 191 by Chris Claremont and John Romita Jr, in the context of a great new sequence illustrated by the impeccable Greg Smallwood.

Its hard to really grade something like this since it's a part of history, but I personally think its a great read and would make a great addition to any fans collection; new reader or classic comic fan. Read Full Review
Overall this is a neat approach to bringing back an old story many have probably not read. It's a fun way to play with Marvel history and also pay respects to the past while setting up a brand new story. Read Full Review
This isn't necessary reading, but if the upcoming story can build off this in a big way, it is more than worth your time. Read Full Review
Savage Avengers does nothing to advance Duggan’s grand story forward, but it does do a solid job of adding depth to it. My main complaint is that Krakoa is finally visited in a non X-Comic, and we got no action whatsoever.
Suppose it serves as a crash course in Kulan Gath
Just a recap of an old story but this was the first I have ever heard that story. I enjoyed it.
Most of it are reprints.
This was mired by the archaic writing of the time. These two issues of Uncanny X-Men aren't the best. Really, all we can hope for is that Savage Avengers builds on this. But we won't know for a bit, as this issue refers to issue 11 of this series, yet issue 10 isn't even out.
So old so old so old.
