THE GOOD:
-I just love Garney's art. It's perfect, especially for this comic.
-I also love the pacing of this comic. It doesn't move so fast that you don't get the full appreciation for things, but it doesn't move too slow, like the main Conan comic often does.
-Conan fighting those undead skeletons was so satisfying.
-Poor Suty. I'll be honest, I liked him better than Conan.
-I can't get enough of the atmosphere of this comic. It really brings you into this world really well.
-Yikes, that end can't be good. But I'm really excited for next issue.
-For once I liked Conan. I felt bad for him here. Nice work, Gerry Duggan.
THE BAD:
-Menes i more
A really fast paced and fun issue. Enjoyed it a lot. Conan is such a joy to read.
I absolutely loved the story here and so far has been one of my favourite Conan stories this year, however as some other people have stated which i definitely agree with is the fact that so far Menes is a bit of a boring character with no real compelling plot points. Although i absolutely loved the character Sutty and am sad about his death, i like the idea that the writers are not in fear of killing this well-liked characters in order to push the plot forward and create a realistic world.
A quick read! A fun read! I’m sad about Suty though.
