It has been a bit of a wait for this issue due to the hold up that was created by the pandemic, but it proved to be worth the wait. The illustration and sequential storytelling of the fight between Bossk and Valance was brilliantly done and the dialogue from writer Ethan Sacks was everything that you'd expect from the two characters who have a longstanding hatred of each other. A hatred that I'd like to see explored more in future issues. Read Full Review
STAR WARS: BOUNTY HUNTERS #3 unveils the answer to a lingering mystery and turns the action up full blast. The art is exciting, and the story engages the reader equally well in both action and dialog. Read Full Review

It was a pleasant surprise since all of the characters believe she is locked away in hiding. However, we still don't know why she betrayed her client and the bounty hunters guild, knowing the chaos she would unleash. Bounty Hunters has been an excellent read, and the Bossk/Valance scrap is worthy of the page space it consumed. In the end, I hope the big reveal involving Lash is worth the reader's investment. An enjoyable read if you're a casual fan or big into the bounty hunters, but it's a little lackluster in satisfying the need for a story more grounded in the Star Wars universe. Read Full Review
Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #3 brings fans a healthy helping of action and bounty hunters. Although this issue contains much less mystery, character development, and background building than previous issues, it's entertaining enough and leaves off on a hopeful note that T'onga will finally receive more development. Paolo Villanelli's art is SO. GOOD. I really enjoyed his work on Lando: Double or Nothing, but this is something else. His art on the Bossk vs. Valance fight is so fluid and dynamic, for example. And the rest of the art team did an amazing job too. Even if I'm not super-into the story yet, I can't get enough of the visuals. Read Full Review
There surely is a plot in there somewhere, but it is lost over the course of various exciting splash pages of bounty hunters in combat, seemingly confirming that the objective of this book is to deliver just that, and nothing more. Read Full Review
This issue was fast-paced and fun, but not amazing. It reminds me of the Clone Wars tv series in many ways. Sacks' writing is good, if not a little bit generic. Villanelli's art, designs and interpretations of these characters is what has me invested, however I'm still unsure if I will keep following the series after the end of the story arc. Let's hope Boba's involvement can help this series make its mark, because his brief appearances have been the highlight of the series for me so far.
