FINAL EXECUTION races to its thrilling conclusion! X-Force brings the attack to the Brotherhood, but there is dissension in the ranks.
This is really one of the best issues of this story arc thus far. Not only does the issue give enough time and focus to each of the characters on the X-Force team, but it also really pushes the story, ending it on a cliff hanger. It's easy to see, through this issue, how each of the characters on the team have evolved. Being a member of X-Force has forced them to undergo a full character development (Deadpool is the best example of this), and it's been an incredible ride. Things are not over yet, however. This series could be shaping up to be one of the greatest wrap ups of all time, while almost going unnoticed by the majority of the comic book community. Every member of the creative team compliments the next better than a lot of comics I've read. This is a series with so much emphasis on the darker side of some of our favorite characters and villains. We have two issues left and it seems like there's so much story to be covered as each member of the X-Force is being left in a rather difficult position. I have no doubt that Remender will close off this title with the same skill he's been giving it in each installment, which means that these last two issues should be rather explosive. "Uncanny X-Force" has been an incredibly strong book since its inception, and though this isn't my favorite issue of the series, even when it's underperforming it's still a good, solid superhero comic. Read Full Review
The way Remender writes his characters is just, well, uncanny. The conversation between Logan and Daken was written perfectly
This is definitely my favorite issue of Final Execution thus far, and by the looks of things at the end of the issue, "it is about to go down." Remender delivers beautiful writing, and I have to point out what I feel to be one of the most important conversations of the entirety of Remender's run that takes place in this issue. It involves Wolverine and Daken. It's tragic and wonderful. I really like Noto on art. He's perfect for the close-up drama conversations and emotion-conveyance. There were one or two weak panels involving action but that's being nit-picky on my part. The last two issues were a bit lower in excitement than I've been used to with UNX, so I was glad to see #33 reverse the tables.
