Out of the Venom War run, I'd say this one is the most eye catching. With the zombiote attack, it looked eery and terrifying, as it should. But with other parts, such as scenes that involved Carnage, there was an impressive amount of detail in each panel. The dark colors with the bursts of bright red added a lot of impact to each page. You could really feel the tone of the comic just by the first few pages. Read Full Review
After years of unsteady family drama, it is most satisfying to see Eddie and Dylan Brock as a father-son dynamic duo delivering Venom War's most impressive action sequences yet. Read Full Review
It has great writing, character moments and artwork. But what makes this whole event lacking is... the event it's supposed to be. Zombiotes feel like an afterthought here and so does Carnage and Meridius. It's not badly executed, but it's not something that was build upon.
It is a fun event, but it loses focus by focusing on the zombies instead of Eddie and Dylan Brock. I just want this event to be over now.
It's dumb, but fun in its own weird way. It's not great at all. I just think there's something about this series that makes me come back and enjoy it.
