Final Issue In Jason Aaron’s Acclaimed Run! The Tables Turn As Wolverine Comes After Sabretooth Guest-Starring Mystique And A Host Of Marvel U Villains
Jason Aaron is leaving, and he decides to go out with a video montage of his greatest hits. Every story arc that he has worked on over the past few years gets touched on this issue. While that was all nice and nostalgic, it definitely did nothing for the book, except remind me of some of the terrible story arc from the past two years. Read Full Review
The artwork was pretty quiet compared to previous issues but Jason Aaron's script was very appropriate in setting up several new story arcs for the new writing team that is coming in next month. Read Full Review
A nice final issue that does a great job of giving Cullen Bunn a clean slate to start with. Read Full Review
Few could argue after reading this issue that there isn't plenty of material for upcoming Wolverine writers to mine from. But in some ways, Wolverine #303 would have been a simpler and more satisfying way to close off this long saga. Read Full Review
This comic was okay, I guess. I don't get why Tooth would throw a party, (because it was his birthday, X, you idiot!)I don't get why Wolvie knew it was Sabretooth's birthday(who keeps tabs on their arch-enemies birthday's?), and to be honest, I would have preferred it if we got more from the other stories as opposed to spending so much time on Tooth and his party... I mean that Maverick scene was just BEGGING to be explored further! And it only got two measly pages and then nothing... Even the Dr. Rot stuff deserved more than it got. Oh well. Like I said, this was an okay comic, but I can't help but feel that if the focus was shifted slightly it could have been a great comic. Read Full Review
This is actually the first Wolverine comic I've ever read, almost 10 yearsago, back in June, 2013 when it came out here in Brazil. I remember that I did like it, but found it to be VERY confusing, as this issue ties in lose knots of a run that lasted almost 50 issues. Reading it now, I appreciate it much more, and I hope to see his exes again, I don't remember if they show up in Wolverine and The X-men.But I'm stil mad about the way Victor's Creed return was handled, it was a MAJOR thing when Logan finally killed him, and Aaron just got him back like nothing happened, Wolverine should have acted a little more surprised. Anyway, great run, and there's still W&X-men, that I know for a fact it's a blast
Actually a pretty good send off
